Freedom2surf (I think that's how it's written).
We get 2mb download and 256kb upload for about £30 a month. But if our exchange ever gets upgraded then we'll get 8mbit and despite a lot of torrenting we've never had a stop downloading letter.

i didn't realise you had phones out there yet!
my only other experience was with force9 and that was about £20 per month for 2Mbit...but the terms of service seemed to change daily. packetshaping and all that continually shifting of downlaod limits/time of day limits/time of day download speed limits. strange stuff.

Daylight robbery?
What about this :
1 Mbit, Limited to 15 gigs and costs 60 Pounds a month?
Extra bandwidth costs 15 Pounds for every extra gig or you can get oh so wonderful 64k with unlim bandwidth - which is the case with me right now.
how'd it feel to get robbed of your unlimited bandwidth connection to get 2x speed but limited bandwidth?
Sorry, I had to say it.
The point is -
BE THANKFUL THAT YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF ISPS AND REASONABLE PRICES.

We're with BT, 512K down (booo), 256K up, costs £15 a month for 1GB bandwith, iirc. I've never gone below 5GB a month and never had a complaint letter...

By a bit of torrenting, I mean an average of 100GB a month
Still at my parents place in devon we're too far off the exchange to even get broadband. Makes the holidays slightly less worthwhile

Wow, that's outrageous pricing!
Move to the US. Roadrunner, excellent customer support, 5 mbit down and 512k up for roughly 22 UK pounds.

Better yet, move to sweden where residential 1 gb connections a) exist, b) cost about as much as a case of beer.
Plus there are other advantages to being Swedish. Or at least, living in Sweden.

I use Demon, only 1mbit, but thats becuase of where i live, it would be faster for the same price otherwise (24squid)
I think they do a diffrent offer for 19 quid a month which is pretty much the same, onl;y diffrence i can remeber off the top of my head is a limited number of email adresses.
P.S. I'd use pound symbols but im in the U.S. atm and american keyboards are a bit backwards ^^
