I cannot see any of the text in the menu to the left, it just shows up as empty space. I can see pictures of things to build just fine, but text such as "stop", "dgun", "patrol", etc, do not show up.
This did not occur when I used an Intel Extreme graphics 2 card, but it did occur when I used an Radeon 9250 card.
Can anyone help?

Several sources say this will be fixed by next version.
It's been a known bug for over a year now, so you're lucky you don't have to wait for too long now
edit: If you want to see if it works, try the 0.73 test build in the development forums.

try changing your screen resoulution to 1024x768, if thats your desktop res. Its in the options on lower right. I had the exact same problem, and fixed it with changing the res. Hope that helps!

Others with some of the slower Radeon 9xxx models have reported this line has the problem and it is fixed in the next version.
And HOLY CRAP, you actually got spring to run on integrated graphics?

Some of the upper tier Integrated cards can do it, I've pulled it off elsewhere.

should run "ok" on ati Xpress 200, or 9000 IGP and intel.
it's even playable on radeon 7000 on windows.

Runs on my Intel 845G...I usually get ~8 (more or less tolerable) fps, with settings on medium (minus the advanced things).

There was this one guy that said he was playing spring on a GeForce
2 on his labtop, he said he could run XTA just fine. but AA got a rediculous FPS, I told its a miricle he could run spring at all.

I think Dell had a series of laptops with GF2's with custom drivers written just for those models. Maybe he had one of those... I know I've often been able to "trick" GeForce cards into running things that officially required newer stuff.
