Spring RTS Engine

Im sick of playing with op weapons, were only one weapon will prevail. Or unfair team game, were you sheepeshly die with out the enemy getting a scratch, or pepole ganging up only to play for rank or exp.

Does anyone know a game with AWESOME player finding software? so i can play someone at my own skill level and acually have FUN Playing instead of just getting frustatrated of losing? Or a game were it's just fun, you NEVER get annoyed because any of the above.

I want to have FUN playing for once in a while.

What do you like though? For instance, I like roaming around in EVE somtimes in a smaller ship in dangerous areas, and I find it fun when I find a carrier that sends fighters after me and I get pwnt somtimes =P Other people would find this a waste of time. Why not play this great game I know of called TA:Spring. It has a lovely fanbase a and a balenced ranking system!

Meh, I have two ranks and I think I am badass.. I don't get much time to play however..

I like RTS/FPS mostly. most things cept MMORPG's. In general not rpgs. It feels to... well, static. Stupid autoattacks and stuff like that.

You are a funny guy.

It is not possible to play fair games when everybody has the objective to play games which enable them to swing the odds in their favour as much and as often as possible.

Hence the stacking, whining, abusing and cheating.

Fair games are a myth, as is fair life. Cry me a river. Please.

Yeah, it's still Doom: Legacy for great justice.

It's a free Doom loader that allows you to host custom games from any Doom related package. It combines features from newer games with the Doom graphical engine, so almost nobody is quite ready for it the first few times they play. Sure, there are no rankings, but nobody plays so if you organize a new group you'll all start from the ground.

Has any here played "Call of Combat" ? It's a thin client free RTS.

I've heard of Call of Combat but never played it because it lacked AIs... Actually I didn't start playing Spring until AIs were implemented. Yea... I like playing against AIs because they won't yell at you if you do something cheap Well that and people like to pick on newbs...

Better use Doomsday then. If you'd like to play MP, use 1.90beta3. beta4 is kinda broken, but being worked on.
