What is it and how does it work?
I assume you've already looked at sensors.tdf itself?
In short, it allows mods to tweak the resolution LOS calculations work at.

Cool, I'll add something to the wiki in the morning if nobody beats me too it, its been the main reason I can't test my compiles.
