Hi all,

Version 0.6.1 is out.
Changes include:

*Fixed a bug that started a skirmish with you as a player instead of a spectator
*Did some small bug fixes
*Did some small modifications

This will probably be one of the last, if not the last SpringSP updates unless someone else want to work on it. I won't be adding any new features but I might do some bug fixes.

As usual I hope you find this useful, enjoy. :-)

If anybody else wants to pick this up, good changes might include:

1. Custom colour support
2. Integrated Gaia AI support
3. Replay streaming to web?
4. Recalibrated Overall Unit Limit? (It seems to max around 800, despite values far beyond.

Can you upload to Unknown Files as people wont be able to use the cookiebot search commands to get the link inlobby like they can with the 90% or so of all the spring content available that was moved to unknown-files.
Replay streaming to web?
Would require lobby support aka TASClient.
Integrated Gaia AI support
Give an AI ally team 16

Don't get your hopes up :-) It isn't integrated with the client unfortunately. Just a program I found that streams screenshots to an ftp. If I had a faster connection it might be useful for broadcasting tournament finals (and other similar games). Although we would have to put some effort into blocking out player's ips from watching.

BTW, I've always liked Spring SP. Hopefully someone else can pick it up if you stop working on it.

For me the biggest gripe has been not supporting shadowed buildings setting in springsp... Actually the only bad thing, besides no map preview. Or do I have too old of a version?

This version has a ghosted building option, but still no map preview.

The previous version had the ghosted build option too I beleive.

Android, could you modify this to load data from /lobby/SPP/ rather than /SPP/?

Actually this is the first version to have the ghosted buildings option.

I'll move /SSP/ to /lobby/SSP/ in v0.6.1, I will probably fix up replay saving as well. It may be a while before that is released though.

hmm, well I'm considering an NTai XE9.23 release before 0.73b1 with nanoblobz 0.6 and the updated Spring SP and groupAI.

Does it search for .sm3 maps as well? That would be nice...

It depends on unitsync so it would search for them in 0.73 version fo unitSync

Tested with 0.73, latest dev build... it doesn't detect SDD mods :?

Only problem with SSP is that it won't show mods in the list if they are in a folder. I have all my AA files in a folder becuz it has all those readmes and web link files and so it doesn't clutter my directory.
