Spring RTS Engine

First, I'd like it if I could completely turn off sound effects. My soundcard is somewhat broken and hangs for approximately 5 to 10 seconds everytime it's initialized by a windows app for no apparent reason. And I'm getting annoyed by sound effects in general :)

Secondly, the possibility to filter join/part events only for specific channels (e.g. #main). I'd rather leave it off but for the main channel, because of all the spam it causes.

having sounds for messages recived other than pm's too or to allow the sound to be played regardles sof wetehr the window has focus or not.
