I don't know why MS went to the half-shit bucket when they decided to make MS Paint... There is another tool: Microsoft Office Picture Manager..

This tool, is awesome, when I resize an image, IT KEEPS ALL THE DETAIL!

Didn't we tell you to use GIMP?

Alternatively if you get a copy of photo shop that will work well too...

If you seriously want to do something more then make Min3Mat's MS paint art. I recoomend the GIMP as well. It's opensource so no reason not to try it.

Neither, if you're using at least XP, do you load them in paint. You load them in windows itself, using the subprogram "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"

Ill have you know I started my computer graphics fasiantion with MS paint.

Also, there was no MS paint in 3.1 (as stated) there was PaintBrush, a wholey better program which I transfered to 95 and 98 I prefered it so much.

Anyone else rember that program??

Yea i kinda remember it, but why was it better than Paint?

Anyways, if you know what your doing, Paint owns for stuff like pixel art.

xnview is good for resizing images. Photos resize best with the Lanczos algorithm.

It was just such a classy program. But it was maily because Paintbrush had a better spraycan tool (Paints is so crap, it just does random splats, insted of dithering colour) and its fill icon was SOOOO much cooler, it was a paint roller not a spilling bucket. (Knowing that got me a mark in GCSE Graphics...). And when you zoomed in it had a nice grid, making pixel art realy easy. Funny, I remember walking into my secondry school on one of those "take a look at this school do yo uwant to come here in later life" days and showing some 18 olds how to use paintbrushg properly...

Ok, now I just getting sentimentla over a paint program... WTF.
