Spring RTS Engine

Does anyone know where I can get the tileset that CAP made for OTA called Oxigen 11?

There is a map called Oxigen 11 that was made using an oxidized metal tileset (Made by CAP) and I have been trying to hunt it down for a year or more...

Help?

Edit: THis tileset I'm looking for is NOT the Oxigen tileset, oxigen is quite a bit different than the one I'm looking for, however I believe that it did have Oxigen in the name.

I'd still love to get my hand on those to toss them up as a torrent somewhere. It always bothered me that fileplanet and trying to find someone to burn a couple copies were the only choices...

Ok here is a link for the Oxygen tileset, beware, some of the terrain sctions in this tileset are only 64 x 64 in size,, very small and tedious.
FYI the Metal New tileset is very similar to Oxygen without the corrosion.

About the only tileset in the list thats actually hard to come by is "Desert Moon", If anyone wants it I can post a link.
The total size of the tileset archive is 1.16 gb
If there is somewhere I can upload a file that large I will give it a go, I have a 500k upload speed but my own little ftp resource has a 250mb limit

Hey Forboding, the penny just dropped that tileset your after "oxygen 11" forget about it, nobody has it, not even C_A_P
its gone to a beter place.
I suggest you download a map or two made with this tileset and reverse engineer the terrain sections in Annihilator.

Regardless of it's blankness, I love the look of oxigen11.

Post on TAU for the request. People semi-randomly bring it up there; at least two peopel are guarunteed to have it (Datanut and Rabidmongoose).


That is, if you can stand to post alongside us "unadaptable OTA losers".

Actually, lately I have come to understand their viewpoint a lot better.

While they're kinda dumb for not even giving spring a fair chance, some of the points have merit (like the fact that there is no TRUE ota mod that exists in spring).

I will give that a go.

A shame C_A_P never put it up on fileplanet. Just had a game of TA on it, looks pretty nice. The tileset is called Rustworld by the way.

They won`t have the tilesets but hey brick walls have their merit

and C_A_P never made a tileset called rustworld, there is Oxygen, Oxygen 11.
another tileset thats lost is
Claydonia,, he lists "desert moon" as lost but I have it and so do quite a few people, I am pretty shure all his tilesets where on TAMEC before the site suffered its famous nuking from an incompetant asshole at PA, we approached C_A_P for the tilesets but he had a hard drive die with all his stuff on it and no backup was ever made.

I am going to upload the three I have that merciless don`t have on their site.

Isn't that the tileset name? He calls it Oxidized Metal though. The map is still available through tamec, had no luck on the tileset anyway. Googled for each of the names and the results were always the same, pointing to merciless or tamec.

A tileset archive would be nice, containing every good tileset ever made.

He actually calls the tileset a lot of things in his description but I have to correct myself,, its actually called "Oxidized Metal Tileset" Oxygen11 is what he called a map, and rustworld is the "world" name he gave the
mission.

I suspect that this never was an actual tileset,, cap would sometimes render a map, release it and call the unique terrain a tileset, even though it may have only existed as one map, which I think may be the case here.

Uh ok. I found the Adamantine tileset which looks rather good. Stupid tamec and their outdated/wrong links

Yeah, I was just checking on some of the old sites, and saw his news post offering to mail out DVDs for $2. I thought, what the heck, I'll get this for old times sake if nothing else . I think I also have backups of all the TAMEC maps I downloaded over the years on zip disks somewhere (remember those ), which might include some of the lost stuff. I've actually used the TAMEC DVDs a couple of times and avoided fileplanet (worth $2 any day).
