2. If the mod allows team colors or not.
Wouldn't everyone be happy then?

Derailing this thread with something that fits into the thread title.
A light year cannot be used as a measure of time. It just doesn't work.
One light year = the distance light travels in a vacuum in one year.
That is the definition of a light year.
To compare, let's define a "mile" as "the distance a car going 1MPH travels on a road in one hour". Let's assume that 1MPH is already pre-defined (just as the speed of light is)... maybe it's how fast the river flows or something.
Can you now measure time in miles?
If you cannot, you can't measure time in light years, because they're the exact same definition.

You can, but only if you are in a car going at 1mph. After you've gone 1 mile, its been 1 hour. Otherwise, yes, you're correct.Felix the Cat wrote:Derailing this thread with something that fits into the thread title.

Yeah, the whole confusion about Light Years being a measure of time as apposed to what it really it, distance... pisses me off too... many things piss me off to suck a minor degree that the whole world just takes me down about one notch from content. One other thing that grinds my gears is when intelligent people try to defend a concept that is obviousely incorrect using the logic employed by the unwashed masses.
The only reason people thing that a light year is a measure of time is because it has the word "Year" in it... BlackLiger... don't try to defend the people, we all know that the planet is populated by idiots, I am the baseline of intelligence, please do not fall below me.
