I think it's finished. Uploaded it into
http://www.unknown-files.net/browse.php?dlid=1437
Thanks everyone for the advice while I was making it.
I decided to not do foothills or such to make aircraft travelling easier. In my opinion it still wouldn't make bombing the edge areas possible.

Looks great, almost natural. I like this, and I will have to play it sometime.

Good map, just played an AA 4v4 on it. (top vs bottom)
Noone complained about anything so I guess its kinda balanced.
Sure, the hill dominates the map but the sides are important as well.
In this game we captured the hill but lost the left side instead.
I didnt notice problems with planes but groundattacks are much more usefull anyway..

its nothing special but maybe interessting if you want to know how the map plays.

It was 2 v 4 actualy, one of our allies killed themselves and another left a few minutes in
But, yeah, it's not a bad map, aircraft didn't have as many problems as i'd have thought.

Good work. Pity about the 8 bit heightmap though.

Really nice work!

Would you know how to could get rid of those? I wonder why my photoshop shows the heightmap bmp-file as being very smooth but when I open it with Infranview, it looks more like the map that produces those contours.
