People are heavily abusing the nanotower transport bug.
If you do not know what it is:
get a transport plane to transport a nanotower, put it down and it is immortal.

You know by posting this it you are just telling people how to do it, increasing its likelyhood to be exploited.
Although it definitely needs to be fixed, its hardly gamebreaking for the amount of time you have to invest to do it.
EDIT: I'd really reccomend you edit your post not to explain the exploit

It's explained in the Mantis anyway.

The devs know about it, so it being posted here is only doing harm.

A small patch to make n-towers un-transportable wouldn't be that difficult...

It's explained in the Mantis anyway.
I think i posted that

ah, thats how you do it

I dont think its always done on purpose, yesterday I played a game on 2_Continents and we were using air-transports to reinforce the islands using the area-pick up thing...
I was wondering why an ally was building them at the front and how they survided so long.

I haven't had access to my main computer for some time now. It's got all my modding plan documents and my master copy of AA, GEM, RealOTA, AWS, etc.
I should be able to make a new version in the next week or so, fixing this bug and lots of other suggestions. So, as usual, if you've got anything to say, say it now - and in the main AA thread.

... You posted a mod-related balance problem in the Mantis tracker?
*sigh*

No, the underlying engine bug is in the tracker. It happens in Nanoblobs with unfinished units as well if they are tossed around by shockwaves.

it's not mod specific, its just in AA it manifests itself as transportable nanotaurrets..

Ahh, no one said anything about the unfinished part!

No actually it's completely mod-specific. It's my own hacky way of setting up these structures, and the only thing I forgot was to increase the mass.
As for unfinished units, yeah that does sound like an engine bug...
