Spring RTS Engine

They're completely transparent to lightning at the moment (KDR_11k can back me up). is lightning not a projectile?

it doesn't look as though shields can blcok flamethrowers either. is it just a case of copy& pasting the code for other weapons (not missles) into the lightningcannon & flamethrower files?

i under impression shields dont block AOE weapons

that's perfectly correct, they don't block AOE damage that starts outside (or on) the shield and extends far enough to touch the unit.

what i'm talking about here is the shields not being able to intercept certain weapon projectiles like lightning and flame.
