Little bit late huh....

I kinda forgot cuz I was pissed!

I think I finally got (some) of it....

Alpha layers 1-99 percent are used for team color?

And I dunno what RGB layer stuff is/how to use it...

Edit: ACk, I dunno how to choose which part of the texture it affects....

Edit2: Okay, this ain't working I need a tutorial that explains it FOR SPRING!

Edit, yet again: Do I even need this shit, I have devoted about 10 hours to getting a damn alpha layer to slightly make sense and nothing works, GIMP seems to be impossible to navigate, and I can't find out wtf anybody is talking about, cuz apparently if it works for one image modifier it WON'T work for the next...... This is the most boring part of it, I'm sure, I don't see why I should even continue this part of it... I should prolly just skip to animating and blah blah blah :(

I think you need a tutorial about the proper use of caps lock.

What kind of GIMP tutorial do you need?

One that reads "1. open channels tab, 2. click 'new channel'"

have a look on the spring wiki at the s3o unit guides - it should all be pretty transparent assuming you understand what channels are.

What about the RGB channels, or whatever they were called for reflectiveness and everything, I haven't found a tutorial about getting anything like this in GIMP...

Everytime I create a "transparency" or alpha channel it has this stupid colored checker pattern in the background, I can't find where the hell I am supposed to put side colors, and I think I'm gunna go and and find every tutorial I can, and do it, I might understand something then....

It's so damn easy and I can't believe I have been fucking it up for so damn long! Just make a *SELECTION* in the Alpha Layer...

You have to *CHOOSE* the alpha layer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feel free to delete/lock/whatever you feel like doing for this one....

I disappointed myself big time with this one....

I almost feel like crying

OHhh, Well time to get back to making my mod !!!

Urghh, good luck with that, I dunno what to do it in so I use MS paint :p

Then modify in GIMP, anything one of em can, another one can mimick finely, some just require more skill...
