Spring RTS Engine

Do we want to keep the 80x80 max:4kb no remote linking avatars?
Or do we want bigger sized files at larger resolutions?

I was thinking this when trying to get my new avatar to upload. Its up there atm but the animated version is much better. I tried changing the dimensions and the contrast and compressing and different paletes and dithering but no matter how hard I tried the nearest to 4kb I could get was 5KB=(

edit: Somebodys taken away the 120x120 10kb option!

I'm bad at reducing image sizes, so this is the maximum I got from my GeHorse thingie, which is relatively lame...

Yhe, they should be able to be just a little larger, especialy in file size.

Anyone got any ideas for a new one, cause im just using old ones and I cant think of anything new at the mo... Driving me nuts.

I adminned a phpBB... if you allow remote avatars, the limits are easily bypassed, so I think that's out.

Please can we have the avatar size alowence incresed, please please, just in megs not size, please?

ahk We want bigger avatars, I cant use my avatar of the girl eatign the bunny! I have to make ti static and it looks sooo spiffy animated! She tears and lugnes at the thign and wrips it to shreds and gobbles it all upp!!!!!!

make it 130X130, basicly as long as it doesnt fuck up the layout of the forum it doesnt matter.

They dont need a bigger "size", they just need to be able to be bigger in "file size". Thats all I want anyway... just a few more kbs...

yeah, at least make it so that a 24 bit png file with full color will freaking fit... at least like 10K or somethine... I had to reduce colour depth to 128 colors to get it to fit in the 4K...

They need it to be huge!!!!

No cuz max file size doesn't allow SHIT

Increasing the width wouldn't mean changing the height of tiny posts etc, I would say allow 80x100
