1 word

co - location.

also germany is wicked :D

allthough i dont have it all on 1 server.

3 Dedicated servers, each with 1TB PM

and 1 shared between 3 ppl which has 9TB (also a 100mbps connection which the others do not)

i dont see how, a website called file universe expects to host files with 1TB bandwidth....... filefront use that ever other min :P

You know, we were never ment to be this absurdly huge. I checked the FU stats just the other day and almost fainted at the sheer amount. Geez, when I started out this site I was happy when I got 50 downloads a day. Now I see figures like 5000, and all of them at least 20Mb in size.

Well to be completely accurate we rent game servers to be able to afford what we do, and because game servers rarely use 1TB lol we have so much left over├óÔé¼┬ª.

now maybe i should play this game to get an idea of what im hosting!

I've never played all the old school rts games like command and conquer or like whatever but I think this is easily the best RTS game I have ever played.

Imacup, could the upload limit be raised to 50 mb?

And are you using linux servers or IIS?
