My texture library...

Well with the advent of me learning to make seamless realistic textures easily and quickly...
Is anyone interested in me putting up my texture library for everyone? As in updating it whenever I get the itch to do more? These would be for map use only as I can't see how they would benefit modders at all.
At any rate, is it worth my time doing this? I have noticed that many mappers (including myself until yesterday) are having trouble finding good terrain textures for their maps, so I thought that since I have the knowledge and the "skill" if you wanna call it that, maybe I could further my efforts to help other mappers.
Meh, lemmie know. If there is enough demand I'll do it. My texture library is pretty robust by this point.

It would help mappers certainly. Which means more maps to play on! \o/
And of course more load on FU, which would result in it crashing more. But thats not important

FYI, FU didn't crash, it hit it's monthly bandwidth limit. I'm going to be using bestsharing and another personal site for backup links from now on.

I have amassed a nice collection of textures if you want to add them to the texture set.

I'm interested in the textures and your method for making them.

well a real short demonstration if you will jack.
Take a picture of somehting you think might make a good texture. Pull it into photoshop , copy the entire thing and paste as a new layer, use filter>offset, the set the values EXACTLY half of the image size in the offset filter, hit ok. Then add a layer mask to the top layer (the one you put the offset filter on), switch over to the layer mask, and start painting black on to to layer mask where the seams are.
Makes a lot more sense when you actually do it ;p
As far as a link goes. Figure on about firday. I'm moving this week and my textures are here there and everywhere so I gotta pull them together in one convenient place ;p
I actually don't know how many I have. I know it's a good bit, but I have no idea how many.

I know I'd appreciate it. If anything Crossfire was a demonstration that I'm fairly weak at texturing.
