Bug : stuck in "map drawing" mode (reproductible)

Sounds like a bug to me, i didn't find a way out.
If you press "Shift+ù" first and then "ù" to place a marker or to draw on map, then you get stuck in this drawing mode forever... and your game is wasted.

I also had this problem, for the second time. I wanted to make a label (i pressed 2 times "´" and then i got stuck in this drawing mode. Is this a bug or do i use the label marker in the wrong way?

On my azerty keyboard, it is "ù" or "%" (same) which is used to place markers.
If by mistake, at any point of the game, you press "Shift+ù" (i first did it because i though that %=shift+ù was the command for drawing) and a few secs/minutes later you want to add a marker and press "ù" then voila you're stuck in the drawing mode forever.
From my lastest tests, this bug is 100% reproductible, just press "shift + drawing mode button" and then "drawing mode button"

could it be that you pushed ctrl and shift at the same time so that your keyboard layout changes?

some people have clearly not read this
in some cases this is indeed the reason

I managed to get stuck in draw mode, clicking everything didn't help. Didn't run windowed, so tried to alt-tab to try to figure what was wrong.
And that disconnected me from the game.

Though you were joking...
What kind of layout acts as if you continuously press %?
If it was a layout, it would assign "% + MouseBtnX" to "MouseBtnX", aka you "left click" and it interperts "% + left click".
As I said this bug is 100% reproductible : press ONCE "Shift + %" (% is the button on the right of M on azerty keyboard), then build something, move or do watever you want,
BUT the next time you'll push % because you want to draw something, you'll get stuck.

its funny all u are from Europe correct. i assume that from keyboard layout u decsribe. if i may suggest something, try setting that to default to the key next to the 1. thats how it is setup for me and i have never had a problem.

The fact is that "²", the button next to 1, stopped working with the lastest Spring release.
That's why I started getting trapped in this bug, since there is only 5mm between Shift and % on azerty keybaord.
So my 2 suggestions are : try to solve this bug and/or make "²" to work again by default in the next release (aka without having the user edit by himself the uikeys txt file)

Isnt it nice that in the UK we use QWERTY keyboards and not AZERTY.
Why dont you just sue a button such as the * on the numpad? or #?

I sure as hell can't figure out how do exit draw mode with a QWERTY keyboard. I'm stuck in it.
