*NOTE* Maps are now on FU.

First of all, I'm sorry 56kers, these maps filesizes are quite large...

That said, the maps are 28x28, with a height difference of 1000, so they are quite magestic.

I will post screens of the respective minimaps shortly.

You can download from here:

Wishing Well (water map) size: 49.3 megabytes
http://www.bestsharing.com/files/ms0017 ... 1.sd7.html

Silt Outcropping (dry/mountainous) size: 49.3 megabytes
http://www.bestsharing.com/files/ms0017 ... 1.sd7.html

and about 700 added height.

THe play area of the maps is simply huge. In EE gd can get almost anywhere.

Meaning, that because of the way it is set up, the map will probably seem bigger than most 28x28's. Kinda cool actually.

BTW noise, wanna model me some skyscrapers tilting at an angle and halfway in the ground? That would be awesome. I also need some scrapmetal walls. If you wanted to do them for me I would happily put them in.

Edit: BTW bestsharing is set up specifically for use with download accelerators.

I reccommend http://www.freedownloadmanager.org. If you use firefox get the extention "Flashgot" as it works in tandem with free download manager.

Well, in cannon, water like that would harden to make a very very very concret like area. But who the hell cares?

Very cool, Forb. Its nice to have the same great game play on Wastes with a BIGGER space so we can have those four on four matchs I've been dying for.

This looks like one of those pictures the psychologist holds up to patients and asks them what they see.

Too symmetrical. You should vary each side a small bit. Make it more natural.

It's like that because it is symmetrical, because it is mirrored, because you would need a supercomputer to render it without the mirroring.

EDIT: Well, not a supercomputer, but certainly a super computer.

I dont think that it looks like a Rohrschach Test.

But i would find it cool - if with those Megamaps a SizeCompare Screenshot would be offered. Just like this Film "The Number of 10" were the Zoom out into Space from a sleeping human... Iloose the feeling forSize in this Dimensions... - not only MB wise

if you notice there is a spec on one of the screenshots in the middle of the map about. That is a GD factory and a gd com in EE.
