New scrollwheel zoom-in

I really dont like how now when you zoom in using the scrollwheel it zooms to your mouse instead of the center of the screen, because usually I use the mouse to move the camera so the units I want to zoom in on are in the middle of the screen. Then, when I zoom in. Now, however, the mouse is on the edge of the screen when i zoom, so it zooms to the edge instead of at my units. Can we get an option to turn off this new zoom in style?
P.S. I love how far the camera can zoom out now, props for that.

Yeah, its real uncomfortable before youve got used to it.. Im kinda getting used to it now, but its still irritating to zoom whie scrolling.

Yeah, it'll take getting used to, but then we'll all wonder what we'd ever do without it in a week.

This is an interface choice, not a bug
It'll take a little getting used to, but its a helpful feature.

I hope there's an option to disable it

also, the behaviour is different depending on whether youre zooming in and out. zooming out then in should leave you focused on the same position when you havent moved the cursor. but it doesnt unless youre pointing at the exact middle of the screen. (the point on the map under the cursor should still be under the cursor when zooming out, if that is to be the behaviour when zooming in)

if you guys want the option... Someone should write a patch, otherwise it isn't going to happen i guess....

That would require zoom in to cursor work the same as zoom out to the opposite way.
I'd rather the screen centred on where the cursor is rather than go directly to cursor as I always have to move my mouse to the right/left of where I want to zoom.
