I am doing a space-browsergame (yes another one). Most important parts are finished and you can also colonize, research, build and battle. Anyway i could need some help with programming and gamedesign in general.

The whole programming is done with JSP/Java on Tomcat Server and MySQL as database.

Currently the game is shut down cause it has still some bugs and conflicted with the TAS Backuplobby-Server on Inferno's server.

If you are interested plz PM and i'll give you more information and screenshots.

Some sort of i just try to bring in some components which most other games dont have, like a real Techtree with dependencies, free customizable ships, economic system and planetsystems with fortifieable systems and 3 combat levels (system, planetorbit and groundcombat)

Something like http://www.orbitalthreat.com ?
Sounds like a fun project. It's a pitty I don't know anything about those languages, except some MySQL knowledge.

Yeah that game is about same complexity as mine :).

Unfortunally it is difficult to find people for programming JSP/Java ... anyway it is fun to make it, but sometimes it would be good if someone else takes a look at your code and could tell you what could be improved or done in another way. (same for gameplay, but you always find people how wants to bring in their ideas)

I have been learning Java in some free time after beeing somewhat disapointed by .NET/mono.

Although i won't be able to help you with coding, i could give it a look to see if the general arquitecture and coding are well. That is, if i can understand the JSP part of Java. Can you share the code?

Yeah i can provide you with the code .. the architecture has grown over 4 years and mirrored my java learning process, so you can imagine how it looks like but i host the source for you and give you a link in pm.
