Very simple map request.

I am known in TA circles as Wotan - for some reason I had problems with that sig when I signed on originally. Anyway, I am just getting my feet wet with Spring Proper after years of work in the TA Community. At the moment I am looking for the most basic of maps. I don't know much about map making in spring and have limited access to the needed tools to do so. So if anyone is willing, all I need is a map that includes the following:
- The map is one color (as close as possible to TA's light blue transparency color)
- The map is 100% hard - no change in terrian when damaged
- The map is perfectly flat with no water at all.
- The map is at least 16x16 in size.
- That's all :)
Why am i doing this? I need a map that will allow me to test units converted from my TAWP mod in TA for Spring. I also want to take advantage of the background color of the map to improve/record explosions in Spring for the TA version.
As always any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

download wide open combat.

Wide open combat has...
- Gray metallic texture (I'm looking for a solid color background - no texture)
- Hills (I need flat)
- Dark lighting (I should have mentioned also that I need standard light settings that match TA's sun position).
I really meant it when I said the map is simple

Acctually, I just did the hard part... If someone can post an SMD for a solid hard SMD with "OTA" style lighting... I'll update it.

Cool and thanks! With the OTA lighting I'll be set

Heheheh, I see what he's doing. He's making a fake-texture. Put it on units or features to really confuse people.

no... what is seems to me he is doing is attempting a "blue screen effect" so that he can record animations from spring and use them in his TA mod as sprite animations... so I can make the map again (or really anyone can... it's dead easy to make maps) whatever colour is best to use as a neutral color, turn off the detail tex and you've got basically a flat, matte surface to work with... let us know what exact color you want cause I don't know what this "neutral blue" you speak of is...

Reminds me of my whiteout map ages and ages ago, a huge totally flat map that was a solid white colour, like an 80's video.

just set the hardness in the smd to like 90000
There is a tag for no map damage, but iirc it doesn't really work.

Sinbad is correct!
I am working on a mod and want to improve explosions in TA. I also want to begin converting to Spring as well as making mods.
Here is the color, with a downloadable BMP...

That will not work out how you think it will. Ta explosions do not have levels of transparency. They have gif-like transparency.
Like this:
Get gundam annihilation and you will see what I mean,

That is ok. As long as the explosions can be recorded and transferred to seperate BMPs to form a GIF like anim I will be fine. I will likely have to set speed to -9 the explode, pause, screen print a few dozen times. I can clean up in Photoshop and import into GAF builder from there.

It will take a lot of work to clean it up. I recommend a black or maybe grey color.
using colors like blue will cause a lot of bleed over. If you use grey or black it is easier to deal with.

That's a shockingly clever idea, I really mean it.

Let's go with Gray then if that will work better. Black always leaves artifacts that are hard to filter out - unless some one has a better work around. Regardless, I will have to convert all explosions to use that blue color background in the end.

well, you can try red or orange etc.
