Hey, here's where you all can talk about the unit remaking that's going on.

What units are done? What units are being worked on?

Wouldnt it be easier to just move the Units thread from the general discussion to here?

It was being looked after by someone else mate, but he hasn't poped in for a while it would seem... Maybe someone with his E-mail will contact him and get his arse over here...

i have no idea about the units being remade. its not an SY thing, it's a community thing you all started up. i thought id put up this board for you all to deal with it yourselves

Well I've begun remaking the mav, its currently untextered and unscripted. What abou the rest of you?

Well yeah, were sure as hell not going to remake sc units, this being "TA Spring" after all.

actually, after reading through the 7 page monster on the tauniverse forums...not all the units need to be remade. Most, if not all of the buildings already look fine...its just that the units need bottom faces, and more of them...not to mention a better texxing job.

one moment, there's a website with all the units that have been done already. (the arm commander is taken, and it looks fantastic)

anyways, I'm not sure how up to date that page is, but its certainly helps to avoid somebody spending days on a unit that has already been completed.

Well the commander bears a vague resemblance to optimus prime but other than that I don't see what you mean.

all of them look like jap cartoon characters. some of them r in the "transformed" phase other r in the pre-transformed phase

Go track down the original modelling team for TA and ask them. But first you should ask yourself whether or not both transformers and TA had machines in both humanoid and various vehicle forms.
