High and Low: ReduX

After a great many positive and encouraging criticisms from many people, Deathwhisper, Dr_Inferno, and Noize, i've felt obligated to make an improved version that Adresses several glaring graphical issues (N64ish texture), and some balance issues (South having overwhelming advantage over north.) and some minor annoyances (no graphical representation of underwater mexes. I've addressed all of these. And now i shall unleash this New and Improved version for you! the loving masses, to tear apart and scrutinize!

wow, i feel so special as to be mentioned in a thread. map looks good. hopefully it plays better. hey and remember, north only loses if the players aren't aggressive. i think we've all learned this due to my very aggressive and risky tactics  . we'll have to try it out tonight

Looks nice. Cliff walls looks pretty iffy though. Try lowering the horizontal scale next time. Otherwise, looks great from the screenies.

yeah lowering height might be fastest way, but i like the height of the mountains, so maybe you could add more rocky slopes in a maybe reduxV2 version? i think the slopes that have grass are very steep, and also some of the beaches with sand are quite steep. I haven't played it, but it seems some of the 'water-roads' are better compared to first release.

BTW, to clearify, the horizontal scale in the render prog. Lower hoz scale = more rock.
