cannot connect

Hi, I am new to this community and I appologize if this is a dumb question. However, I have searched these forums and tried a few fixes and nothing seems to work.

Essentially, I was able to connect to the game servers last night, but this morning I am totally unable to. My internet is obviously working, and I have bypassed my router, so maybe the servers are down? I have reinstalled the program, and still no luck. Perhaps I am just doing something stupid? Or are the servers all down?

Thanks.

what error do you get, what IP are you trying to connect to, etc.?
Also check your firewall, it may be blocking TASClient.exe.

Hey, thanks for the response Betalord.

I have plugged my modem into my computer directly, i.e. no router, and have disabled my only known software firewall, norton antivirus.

This is the message I get:

[6:33:36 PM] Connecting to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com ...
[6:33:40 PM] Cannot connect to server!
[6:33:40 PM] Trying next host in the list ...
[6:33:40 PM] Connecting to fnord.clan-sy.com ...
[6:33:48 PM] Cannot connect to server!
[6:33:48 PM] Trying next host in the list ...
[6:33:48 PM] Connecting to compstomp.de ...
[6:33:48 PM] Cannot connect to server!
[6:33:48 PM] Trying next host in the list ...
[6:33:48 PM] Connecting to localhost ...
[6:33:49 PM] Cannot connect to server!

It's really strange. Should I be typing in some IP address. Once again, it worked fine last night.

Well I don't have windows firewall activated, nor any other firewall for that matter. Its very odd. The IP doesn't work either. I'll let you know if I figure it out. Thanks for the help.
