Well a Desertmap with a City on it.. didn`t work that well, but for thoose who want to try out.

The map is almost unbearably slow. There's only about 3 good metal patches for each of the standard four players (and by "good" I mean "1.5 - 2 per tick"). The terrain is very hard to distinguish, height-wise, without resorting to the heightmap every so often. It COULD be a good map, if it had some better terrain (seeing as it's all in the middle city, and otherwise almost flat), and if the metal was more intense.

Thx for Downloading and trying out.
Well... i always mess up the Metall Map.. that is something Traditional, but at least it is not like on Yilith... Maybee i should prepost them, as all other get this part managed...
And the Heightmap is a Renderiing of a 3dsmax Model, with a Grey Gradient overlay. Result is the rough Ground in the City. I could do a new Rendering, with the Same Result...
Shit happens, Lets forget about City Maps... I just posted it because i put so much time into it...
Why doese nobody coment on the Experimental Thing i did, that Organic Map... It has a real cool point - the Metall is only reachable by the Commander in the Beginning, in the Acid Lakes. That slows you down, till you get Hovercrafts who can build Underwater Extractors into the Acid, without beeing destroyed. That thing has future- Metallspots, that can only be reached by a Certain Technology (Planes, Hovercrafts) You can force Players to invest Metall into Technologys they would otherwise not expand with...

Ah... sorry, but i was working on something new - and tried Invernus about the Metallmaps - and the Best spot has (related to terrain) for every Team with normal Extractor 4,6 /3/ and that must be enough.... It is not Speedmetall

Absolutely amazing map, just played it. It is a little slow, but that's a refreshing change from all the stupid fast metal maps out there. The city area is excellent for kbot battles. I do wish there were geothermal vents however, it's not fun going without that extra energy.
Oh, and the text on some of the buildings is quite amusing as well.
I hope you make more like this!

iNVERNUS... think... oh, yeah.. i think i did something like that.. there were geos (who didn`T appear because the terrain was to messed up) ....

Can u upload the Replay of the "K-Bot Battle in the City" on FU ? Would love to see that... also i don`t love to see that Map again...
Ah, and ... to keep Smoth and Noize happy - we all now take a deep look at the posts date and have some specular regrets, cocerning the summoning up of old "Zombie"-Posts (No - not the nice Guy named Zombie)...
Concering the Advertising on Buildings & such... that`s not my work. It is just, that everytime i finnish my maps, some dark force takes over controll - and my scecond part (Naming himself The PIG) starts his evil work.. I do everything... i promise ... everything to clean up the mess afterwards... but sometimes.. id is stronger
