How is sound work not art? Traditionally when talking about the sound guys on a development teams you call them "Sound artists". Modeling is a digitial art, painting PS style is a digital art and the other big digital art is sound work.

besides where else could you put it? mods wouldn't be a bad choice i guess but people in this area of the forum are more likely to help!

UT2004 has caseless rounds as a secondary mode on the chaingun, but i cant remember how loud the explosions were...

BF2 carrier minigun thing had good explosive sounds, but im not sure they would be as effective when toned down.

right, but do you know how to get them? Normally they are in a game specific format so that you cant extract them (or lets say i dont know how).

Sorry Optimus, but I'm still not satisfied with my current results.

no problem ;) the next release will need at least 2 more weeks, so you have a lot of time.
Thank you for your help!

My problem is, I also don't know the weapon sound(s) and object.
If you could show me the unit and/or the sound of the unit it would be easier for me.
I even don't know how long the "explosion" should be.

I thought it should be something like this:
