Spring RTS Engine

a quick search turns up squat, so hopefully this isnt just part of the topic rotation.

A game yesterday reminded me that not everyone had super-broadband, or lives within realistic flying distance of the servers, so downloading maps can be a pain.
Would it be possible on the map list in the Battle Window, to highlight the maps that everyone in the game already has?

Another search for luck, nothing.

Sounds reasonable.

That would mean people will start to be reluctant to download maps that are NOT popular.

That's already the case. When I try to run games on maps that aren't well-known, especially new ones, I tend to get a lot of "player churn".
