Preferably with some nice, water, at about 60 degrees to the ground, and quite zoomed out?
I need a background...
Thanks in advanced.

This would be nice, it should also include a commander Dgunning.

Why 1280x1024? Cant we go the whole hog and have a 1600 x 1200 one? Then I can see what it would be like full screen. :D Or you could do both i suppose... and make sure there are some planes in it...

Or make a massive 2048x1536 (or bigger) one and resize smaller versions of it...

I've uploaded two 1600x1200 screenies showing a (rather generic) aircraft fighting action. Much terrain, though.
You can find them in the
download section.
They are compressed with JPEG2000, so each is only 100kb; you'll probably want to edit them anyway.
If you're not one for rustic mountain panoramas, you'll have to wait till somebody else does a few screenies; on my lowly Athlon1800, things get quite slow at this resolution, so I didn't want to do any elaborate setup...

You got me more pumped up than a school kid on steroids.
This is not suggesting school kids are on steriods...

Windows will let me pump my resolution to 2048x1536. But my Radeon's control panel says max supported is 1920x1080, and I consider it to be far more intelligent than windows, so I won't be trying that resolution...

can we have that recompressed as something else, or a list of apps that will open Jpeg2000? GIMP2 doesn't like it.

Please redo it as a standard .jpg...

Indeed, by using a non standard compression format you've made the overall download larger by forcing us to also obtain a program capable of veiwing it in.

I dont have any connections with this guy but... this prog opens anything. Well, very nearly. I mean anything media related. It rules. It can convert. It can resize. Crop. Ummmm I love IrfanView. (get teh plug ins and it will do the JPG2000 format)

And its tiny to download.

I'll recompress the shots and put them up as screenshots shortly.

If any of the Yankee Swedespankers, er Swedish Yankspankers have a free moment, could you guess take some huge screenshots in the same spirit as this one:

That would be fantastic, as I kinda need some hi-res screenshots for my mock up of the Spring game box that I'm designing.

Please don't use this JPG2000 anymore.

Windows? Intelligent? Nah. But I would hope I am, at least enough to save my computer from it...
