I just found out that those guys at GpG have this new site up.
But it's junk, you need some flash plug-in that is not available for my system.
Maybe we should make them a new one?

Anyway, is it a nice site?

It's slow as hell. I don't know how they managed to get a site with so little content run so slowly and troublesome. They just overdone the flash bit a bit, I think.

Flash 8 makes my CPU overheat (fortunately I have a physical alarm system on my computer to know this...)

Get a better fan o.O

About the site? Well, it has an extreme loading time first and later on it dosen't even stop there. Gotta load each page seperatly. The design is nice, and it's a good frame for a "oh hay look, a new rts. *read read read*, haha, awesome. *never visits again* type of layout.

Not to much new info...Liked the timeline thou.

the story line seems quite similar to TA

i think the recycler means that they are going to use the concept for all factions, although i bet that the cost/function/look of it will all differ slightly

supcom seems to have to much story (for me at least).
They should handle it like halflife: suggest things and let the player use his imagination.
They didn't provide any good story in TA ofcourse (which was even worse), but it seems that they are now on the other end with too much details.

You do need to have a fast I-net connection and a CPU that is able to render flash pritty good. And if you are on a non-american time, the server isn't overloaded.
When those requierments are met, the site looks very shiny and the sounds fits the enviorment. Overall, the site doen't hold any usefull information. It reminds of the Heroes of Might and Magic 5 teaser site: http://www.mightandmagic.com/HeroesV/ only with more useless graphics.

Personally, I kinda hate these kind of sites, since they are slow and ineffective. (and annoying, sound on a website, should be written an law against it)
