Spring RTS Engine

I was lurking in #SY and came across this:

[11:51:34] <Eisi> Hi, I've seen several reports on the forum that people end up in a connected-disconnected loop when trying to connect to the official lobby server. I also faced this problem on my PC since I upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 and Springlobby 0.269 from the official Ubuntu repositories.
[11:51:34] <Eisi> In spinglobby.log there was an exception something to do with unitsync. I checked the settings of Springlobby and saw that it had no Spring engine configured. I manually had to add the Spring engine and unitsync library shipping with the spring Ubuntu package. I think this solved the issue as I was able to successfully connect several times in a row now.

Surely, there is some log file for failed account generation?

very likely SpringLobby 0.269 is way to old. Please upgrade it, either by upgrading ubuntu, use the flatpak or compile it.
