Make all of them behave more like the gunships!

Why?

1. They're broken?
2. It would work... bombers would shoot as gunships, witch dosen't look like, witch would reqiure change in models...
3...

I say make all other units behave like avengers. Except submarines.

Retarded ants don't fly.

Have you ever seen a retarded ant?

I have, the common worker retarded ant does not fly as it doesn't have wings.
Just no. -_-

It's very messy the way units such as hawks randomly fly all over the place when I am trying to control them, where as units such as brawlers move around exactly how I want them to.. can somebody please explain to me the reason that a lot of the air units randomly move around and ignoring my instructions and what the practical purpose of having them move in such a way rather then moving the way units such as the brawler move is?

Because TA spring has flight dynamics. This isn't some idiotic old-style RTS where aircraft are just ground units that fly. In case you havent noticed, in real life aircraft have to make passes like that because they have to be constantly moving to sustain lift. In my opinion it is one of the best parts of TA, the realistic flight dynamics. Brawlers are not this way because they are supposed to be like choppers, which can strafe and hover.

True, but thier pathing could be alot smarter then it is. Hawks are expecially bad for chasing things infinate distances even after a million return to base orders have been assigned. I appreciate the simulated airmovenet dynamics, but I could do without the simulated pilot retardation.

A lot of the planes seem to be stuck on roam, meaning they fly in random directions, they soemtiems stay in the generally vicinity I want them to, but often when I am trying to gather a force, a bunch will fly off into the enemy's anti air and get itself blown up.. can you please make it so when I press the s button or press stop, the aircraft I have selected will land? Like in OTA? The way it is now pressing s seems to do nothing whatsoever.. and some units such as brawler, when I set the aircraft factory to guard itself, and make endless brawlers, a bunch of the brawlers DO land even when I DON'T want them to! So, yes, some of the airplanes land... when they shouldn't! It would be nice if you could add an option to make the aircraft behave more realisticly and follow instructions ^_^ please?

They could be smarter, yes.
For now? Use the patrol order.

even on hold pos sometimes u need to whack s and order them back to ur base (especially things like metallions in FF)
btw whats up with fighters in FF not being able to guard other units? same with units that act like fighters such as EMP corvettes

Is there any reason not to add this option? If not, please add it, soon, thanks.

Yes.
It would look like shit. I mean, FIghters would stop in mid air, Drift form side to side firing AA missles.

No, they would fly back and worth rather then in random directions, and land when you tell them to, anyways that isn't the point, it would be off by default, so people like you wouldn't be effected by it. So, how could any problems arise? If you don't like it you can just leave it turned off..

It would lok like shit. Which is the point. Fighters don't act like gunships, they act like fighters.
