Tactics, Tips and Strategies

I think we ought to share favorite tactics, tips and strategies.
Today my tips center around the peewee/ak:
I always mix my armies, expecially kbot armies.
most people stop building peewees/aks early on. I like to mix them in with whatever army I have. People usually ignore them and they can deal their damage undisturbed. They also help draw fire from more expensive bots.
I also like to build 4-5 warriors and 20 peewees and attack. I send the warrios first because they are slow and armored and then the peewees. The warriors absorb fire and allow the peewees to get into range.
Peewees/AKs are very deadly to artillery/rocket kbot only groups, even well microed ones, because they are significantly faster. Just be sure to spread them out as you approach and try to surround or get in between the group.
Please post your favorites tactics/tips/strategies.

i prefere to do a similar sort of thing but mix zeus/pyro with tanks also zeus have some AA ability.. useful if theyre defending a big tank.. ie golly (you may ask how 1 would atain a goliath and a zeus.. its called teamwork.. crossing over the two faction works extremely well if you can pull it off)
but what i like to do with my redundent lvl 1 factories? i like to amass builders with my spare metal/E and send them to sleight vantage points (in groups with tanks if necesary) to build factories or turrets etc... iven if its light it may reduce their numbers and as you know the unit type (line of site) you can counter very effectively... also you can build factories on larger maps.
if you need further explenation ust ask

You guys should probably specify which mod you are playing.
Personally, I like to build imperial probe droids (or rebel landspeeders) and position them all over the map. They cost nothing, and are both stealth, meaning you have sneaky listening posts all over the place, allowing to keep an eye on your opponent. I also run regular sweeps through nomans-land to ensure my opponent isn't doing the same thing.
That's Star Wars Spring, by the way.

Here are a few tips which seem obvious when you look at them, but most people dont use.
MOD: XTA
- If you are taking territory with the commander and find yourself ambushed by rocket/missle kbots, a line of dragons teeth will usualy save you, and let you keep your gains.
- This tactic of repairing your units, while protecting the commander, used in combination with atleast 2 units of your own will help you to hold your ground against anywhere from 4-5 enemy units.

See, you should specify the mod. In OTA, the commander cannot build dragon's teeth.
However, a similar tactic can be achieved by building a metal storage in the path of the enemy projectile. As soon as that metal storage dies, you can rebuild it, absorbing the next shot. Not that your commander should be threatened by a few measly rocket units. It can buy you some time in a guardian/bertha duel...

hey theres a point.. lets say you slack off and you find yourself being bombarded by a burtha or far worse a vulcan.
what is the best tactic.. ground units are slow.. but air units (unless your playing against retards) will be more then defended against.
a vulcan is often the most useful tool if used properly.. it can win a game in its own right. set to high trajectory and hiden away in the corner surrounded by solar plants and a wall/ a handful of HLT's it will impeed a base at the least.. less effective on maps like wide open combat. but in like core prime etc where you know where your enamy will be it will pwn.
often overlooked.. and its sleightly advanced.. but if you know where the enamy is coming from build dragons teath (with planes for speed) if you have mouse button 4/5 you can sporate them a touch to speed it up more. arange it so your enamy has to approach in coloumns and put some towers at the end... taking the core prime example
