Slow Mouse Pointer when holding Shift

Just had a crappy game, this is good ocassion to remind all you:
Dont play metal maps.
(those maps you can get 16+ metal in the first 6 mins).
Dont play maps>16*16.
(your brain will explode b4 your units arrive enemy's base).
Passing of that.
I guess i found a bug.
When you issue build queues to const units, you need to hold shift to enqueue.
While you hold down shift, the mouse movement is REALLY slow and wierd.
Its not just slow, but its accelerated.. in a different way the mouse is normally in game.
This seem to happen in other situations also:
when you hover over the "build buttons" the mouse will perform speed changes. (no need to hold shift here).
Please confirm this so i report the bug.

i have noticed that also, but what really annoys me is that from version 0.70b1 the mouse pointer movement seems to be weird and blurry all the time..? Many other people have also noticed this so it must be something not just i have wrong.

Lols, its fun you are all in hurry to place those mexes and defenses and the mouse barely moves!.. and it has some wierd acceleration!
(a note on this... its has a very similar feeling to the default mouse in fedora.. .. (you cant get rid of "mouse acceleration", agh.).)
This must have something to do with the change of libraires and stuff..
I cant confirm on linux either, my ati video card refuses to work, monitor goes to black when using fglrx. ive seen similar problem threads, its hard to solve it seems and ati info is in geekish (must get some seccond agp controller and.. .. O_O ).
will report the bug soon.

that is pretty strange, as the scrolling is done with the direction keys. I don't have three hands!

FEED THE MANTIS
I havn't had a chance to test it cause I'm at work, but this sounds like the kind of "bug" they are looking to have reported...
Does it happen with CTRL or ALT or with the right hand shift keys?

Well, got the bug.
Its a nasty bug, because it hits slow machines two times.
It only happens when the load is high. (i pressume, when getting under 30 fps).
Its notticeable when you hold shift also, because of the "queue" lines, the virtual buildings, mexing lines etc etc etc.
So, if your computer cant handle the map/units, you better stay off, bc hte mouse will betray you too.
Do the test, load a big map, and .give you lots of stuff untill your fps drops low enough, then ask for a lonq queue... it will be notticeable inmediatly.
submitting it to mantis.

yeah, that was the first thing i noticed when i played the new version.. other then the new font.
also happens to be the main reason why i havent played this for 3 days.
i also got the mouse slowdown thing but didnt really notice anything specific about when it hit.
