Server down?

i sign onto the client at work and leave it on. i was remote logged in into my pc. well, i get home, about 10 minutes after i leave work, and it disconnected me. so I try to log back in and it won't let me. It keep saying that my version is not supported by the server.
is there some update or issues with the server?
