domain name server

Hey i just wanted to know does this need a DNS cause i want to start playing again ,not playing TA spring after two months makes you go slightly insane.
EDIT:I forgot to tell you when i try to connect to the server i get a Error: cannot connect!

What? Does spring need a domain name server to play? I'm not postive but I think you can connect to the spring main server by IP, so it should be possible to get through without a DNS... however I'm not really experianced with how they work so I couldn't tell you for sure.

I don't know what you are talkoing about not having DNS... but yes... if you manually specify 194.165.111.35 as the server (ignore the drop down and type in the number) it does connect... but I would like to know how you are surfing the site without DNS in the first place?

Well that manual connect thing did work but.....since i wiped my hard drive i dont have the newer versions of the sprin lobby client so it asked if i wanted to download the update i clicked yes didnt work but now im going to download the lobby client from the site and see if it works
P.S about the having no DNS weeeellllllll......
