Map Converter refuses to proceed with my texture map.. is there a way around downsizing it? It is 16384 x16384 big...

Save the texture as a .jpg "minimum compression" and try again.
Don`t forget to change the command line "texture.bmp" to "texture.jpg" before you try to compile it.
