Just like the topic said.
Some maps like "cosmos" are in /public/ for weeks now and thus nearly impossible to get people to play as they cannot download them ingame.
Same for ff 1.10.
How about moving the files to the correct directory?

And I'd like all my NTAI's amassed into a single 0.29c once I've uploaded it tomorrow, so that i can edit them and amass hits, rather than find that my browser wasnt logged in when I last uploaded and thus have to uplaod as a new file.....

It is entirely the burden of the uploader to place the files where they wish to put it, and it is their responsibility to replace old versions of files with new ones, because they do have the capability to do so. The uploader is also expected to log in before uploading files as well, which is not asking too much from them because logging in is a very simple process.

All I can say is that it's not working

Personally I think it's just because nobody had a clue that this changed. One assumes that as people become aware of the problem, things will improve.
One helpful thing would be to disallow anonymous uploading... At least people could then be chastised into fixing their own mess. However if things remain as is (uploaders don't log-in/sort) then we'll need to change *something* as the current situation isn't tenable.
