I really like the very simple design of this map. It lends itself well to the TA style of gameplay.
Many maps look pretty, but play like crap. Some maps play excellently, but look dog ugly. I think your map is a good compromise. I'll have to download and see what the metal distribution is like.

Awfully plain texture from what I can see. What renderer did you use?

Hey, nothing wrong with a simple texture if it plays well. There's a reason why GoW and PD never stopped being played in OTA, and it ain't because they were pretty.
Granted, I don't yet know how it plays, but I'm certainly willing to forgive a simple texture if the gameplay is solid.

I used Terragen and not much detail....so that it is only 4 mg download. I am making another more detailed bigger map right now. Should be done by end of week. Also it is my first map.....so might not be the best

Use higher resolution textures. The compiler don't really know the difference and it would make the map look WAY WAY better. Oh, and tile.

The basic physical layout of the map is great, It was a lot of fun watching people play on that map. However the bottom seems to have a slight advantage over the top, due to size differences possibly?

Add grass and it will look really great. Trees wouldn't hurt either.

I will add grass and trees and better texture.....what you guys think...on the ridges or the planes? Also should I bump the size up to say a 16x16?

I like the assymetry, it seems like a good map from the shots.
