Hi everyone!
I started to create my own spring maps and be struggling with placing.
Cause I can't find helpfull doc's I hope someone here knows the answers.
1. When using the feature placer, can I rotate the objects?
2. How can I save the map?
3. Can I import my own objects to the features?
Hope you guys could help?
Best regards!

Use engine v96. The dump button is in the bottom of the screen. It dumps to my games/spring.

I have a custom version of the feature placer lua gadget (thanks smoth) that I use to randomly rotate features by setting their rotation in set.lua to "-1". Much easier then trying to manually rotate stuff. You can find it in most of my newer maps with features, Zed 2.2 for example.
If you need further help ask here or in #zkmap channel. This area of mapping is admittedly documented poorly.
EDIT: Attached the gadget in question

Realistically Scened should be used, but it's not really documented much, that I know of.

Scened is also quite complex to get setup, and eventually getting an upgrade with the new name of SpringBoard. Scened cannot do random feature rotation either IIRC.

True, but it's getting easier (it's on rapid now).

It can, for a year now.

My knowledge of springboard is clearly out of date, I eagerly await a release ready for general public usage.

its works verywell for editwater, smooth terrain and export features into a way you need to reuse..(even without ba version and for others mods)
