Spring RTS Engine

ok i have noticed that most of the big guns will not fire all the time. they look at the requested target and dont shoot. this is realy annoying when they were shoting then they stop and get killed. I would just like to know why they just stop and dont shoot anymore at anything

Try switching into first-person mode. Most of the time when this happens to me, it is because there is some building or map formation blocking my gun. Hope this helps.

1. Do you have enough energy? Berthas and intimidators require large amounts of Energy to fire
2. If you build them to close together targeting gets screwy.
3. Does it have a clear line of sight to its target?
4. Is the target in range?
5. Anything else I didnt mention.

Ok im not a nub...its just some times my burtha will stop fire at a place i tell it to fire. i have energy and a clear line of sight......but i guess burthas arnt the way to go....mobile burthas that a diff. story

Are there friendly units in the line of fire? Units won't fire in Spring if so.

If you target a specific building eg a factory and it is subsequently destroyed the bertha will stop firing, this has happened to me on the very rare occasion I build them...
This may be the cause of your problem
