0.194 update

This update was mostly released due to some problems people were having with hosting games. You'll notice new hosting option "NAT traversal". What's new is the "hole punching" method which is a NAT traversal technique used also by some p2p programs. The "fixed source ports" is the method used with 0.193 version, just in case the new one doesn't work well. Hopefully things should work better this time, although "hole punching" technique works only with certain types of routers and so won't work with everyone. Feedback is much appreciated since this new method is still experimental, but hopefully will get improved with each new update :)

mmm...can you also explain the NAT feature a bit? Will this enable 2+ ppl on a LAN to host a game on the main server and have other ppl join w/o having the networked ppl timing out? :D

OK!

YOU guys are a GENIUS! You finally fixed the "Lan" problem! I salute you!

Now ppl on the same network can host a game on the main server, and they can all join, and have others join too, and actually play! W/O losing con! WOOT!

I'm so happy. TYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYYTYTYTtytytytytytytytytytyytty :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I think someone here is happy...

Nice work with that. Hopefully everyone will be able to host now, so there will never be people sitting in the lobby looking for a game.

I've put a link to download page (auto-update doesn't seem to work for some people behind proxies).

That shouldn't have to do with lobby though. Are you saying you get sync messages only when using "hole punching"?

I tired the "hole punching" method with my Draytek Vigor 2600vg with a 3 v 3 game.

I only tried twice and the 'last' person got dropped each time (2 players encounted this). The map was speedy metal, has anyone else had anything simlar?

its because u were playing speedy metal.

Finally being able to host again
Thanks Betalord :)

Btw: I can't seem to connect to hosts using NAT traversal (fixed ports version that is, don't know if it works with hole punching)
Well anyway, as long as I am able to host I don't care about it THAT much :)
