cant connect to server after new patch

Anyone else not connecting to server after latest patch
Just get red text saying I cant connect
weird

I had that problem previous patch. Every now and then I just couldn't connect.
I often switch btwn main server and back up. That seems to do the trick.

hmmm tried that too forbidin... no luck
Its as if Im trying to connect when im not connected to the net, it doesnt even try to contact the master server -- ... any suggestions?
I am connected when Im trying btw :)

Not sure, but perhaps try puting in direct IP address: 194.165.111.35. Also press ctrl+shift+f6 for debug mode and see if you get any response from the server at all.

I tried that betalord, no luck,
I tried reinstalling and deleting registry data, and my comp connects to download the patch, then after installation it just wont connect at all,
There is no delay after pressing the connect button when the error meassage appears, its as if its not even contacting the server.
im a complete novice with this stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)

Hi, problem solved, Decimator... the man... the legend... helped me out,
turns out It was my firewall, doh, Im stupid I know dont tell me! :)
Anyway thanks for the help betalord/forbidin! sorry for wasting your time lol, see yas on the battlefield :)
