Assign modoptioons in spring.exe

Pretty much what it says. I'd like to be able to set modoptions from the main spring.exe menu

I'm against this in principle.
Reimplement the default lobby in Chili+Lua instead and provide adequate Lua API extensions if needed.

Yeah, and maybe in another 6 years it will actually be in the games/engine. But in the meantime...

In the meantime it would be quicker to write an ingame chili menu to do it via Spring.Restart.

That's essentially what I meant with my post.
Reimplement the default ingame menu in Chili+Lua and add support for modoptions.

You specifically mentioned a chili game lobby, which considering the scope of the request, is far and away from what is needed.

Sure lua lobby is a great thing, but it's a lot bigger undertaking.
