A friend of mine tried to play Spring (another initiate, yesss........

), and it installed just dandy, but as soon as he tried to start up a game, an error window came up:

He says that he updated his drivers, so what would he need to do to get Spring working for him?

Shame on you both for trying to run anything on that video card. Stomp on it and then burn the computer it was in for good measure.

Translation:
This video card is not very good. Remove it. Get a new one.
The card is so old that it does not correctly support the rendering stuff used in Spring, so Spring will not start. Happens with basically all old cards and integrated graphics cards.

A more helpful hint:
Get the drivers from ati. Hardware drivers from windowsupdate suck per default...
Then, go in the options and deactivate EVERYTHING. No trees, no high res clouds, no shadows, ect.
THen it _should_ run, although very slow.
no

You did this too? It is possible to buy a graphics card that will play spring for not much money.
