Steaming bitorrent...

Worked fluidly with some old movies as well. In that case the starting delay maybe a tiny bit longer (still less than a minute though). Tested under linux mint
Should work on your smartphone as well (yet ?)

Tried it on smartphone but it gets no connection
On the desktop it works pretty well. Tried one movie... but after manually skipping time... the sound went on/off/on/off/on/off
But my biggerest question is: encryption?

I use popcorn time quite frequently and I like it a lot. Excellent piece of software. It's what netflix should have been.
If it ever makes it onto chromebooks in the form of NaCL, I'll have a serious nerdgasm. Seriously... a chromebox screams "MAKE ME YOUR MEDIA CENTER!!!", and chromebooks are le shiz.
Although, now that chromebooks can run android apps, I suppose it would be possible to run the android version of popcorn time on a chromebook. I need to try that on mine. That would be fucking awesome.

I've used peerflix directly, I believe it's the underlying engine for torrent to stream
https://github.com/mafintosh/peerflix
Works on public torrents only.

I believe popcorntime uses YIFY torrents exclusively. I may be wrong, but YIFY torrents are fantastic, so I don't mind at all.
