2pcs one router = one problem

Hi

Im not sure whats happening cus as far as I know youre supposed to be able to play TA spring online from behind a firewall

My pc is setup for portforwarding... but my bro wants to play online also... but every game he joins it just times him out...

is there fix for this?

Port forward his computer as well? I don't see why this would be a problem...

This is a known issue. Was supposed to be fixed.

Forwarding the ports on the 2nd computer doesn't help. Even if you have 3 or etc.

Cant you only forward ports to one pc

1 port for 1 pc so you cant forward the same port to to different places

well thats my understanding of it

Well it works IF he doesnt join a game I host

so he can join other games fine but not ones I host

yes, thats the known issue. You can change the port # of the 2nd computer to like 10000 (for ex) and forward that port, but it still doesn't help. Its the sharing of 1 IP thats the problem.

yup i got same problem ... multiple computers behidn NAT on one external IP can't play on own server + outsiders ...

I downloaded this program called "hamachi" the other day, what it does is allow you to set up a outside server, and have people connect to a virtual outside network... it worked for another game I was trying, but I can't (haven't bothered trying) figure out if/how it would work with Spring... someone in the know should check it out, it would require people to provide a username and password to users and everyone would need to be running the software.
