Unit Buildmenus, Extra units.

I know it might seem somewhat noobish to ask after this but after messing around in Spring for most of the day Ive noticed that several extra units (added from OTA as .ufo) dont appear on the buildmenu.
I was wondering if its something to do with unit conflicts or does TA Spring automatically reassign the build icon placement?

the Advanced Moho Mine, the Ohio nuclear Missile sub.
The adv Moho mine doesnt show up for either Core or Arm. This is when running the client standalone.
the other few work fine in it.

Are you sure those untis are ok to use? You cant use a TA unti directly, you need to do a little work tog et it across, mostly with textures.
Granted a test with NTAI tryignt o laod a file from a sdz I put int eh spring fodler failed with ane rror sayign ti ddint exist. So I stuck it in every single fodler and every subfodler,a dn thend di the same with an sd7 version, and to no avail.

test one is to try to cheat the unit into the game
.cheat
.give TASTYLEUNITACODENAME
to make sure it shows up, if it does, then you need to acctually make sure the download.tdfs and stuff has all the right info... it's in the wiki I'm sure... never got it to work myself, i usually just replace a current unit with the custom unit...

Funny, all my non-units I ported over all I had to do was make sure they had unitpics (in the unitpics folder of course), delete the anims folder, and throw them in. In the root Spring directory mind you, then it will load them with any mod BUT it is up to you to make sure it doesn't have any conflicts with whatever mod you will be playing it with AND to change the name so that it is no longer a type of file spring tries to load if you want to play multiplayer. Also I suggest taking them out of the ufo and using sdz, since then you can easily modify them by going straight into the file.
