Spring RTS Engine

I remember years ago there was a game where you just build cities and stuff in spring, anyone remember it?
Id like to try it again just for the heck of it. What became of it?
If its opensource i might even consider fixing it.

Vague recollection you had construction range on all buildings and so you expanded/claimed territory by building on the periphery... something like that anyways (Or maybe that might have been a dream I had).

I think I've lost all the source material (not that there was much of any worth) so all there is to work with is that which is in the archive. KDR_11k made some slightly updated versions as available on springfiles but I'm sure they have bitrotted to oblivion also.

And if you fix it I will totally play a game or two.

Seriously, il try fixing up the kdr-11k version for 0.96 to even start, post it here and then see where that takes us.

You mean Command & Conquer? Well OK, Gundam had a system like that too.

LOL, yeah how quickly it is all forgotten.

The bitrot wasnt all half bad, i had a bit of problems setting things up initially and a bit of a personal down phase as usual, so it a bit longer than it should have.
