Spring RTS Engine

Your mac download links aren't working.

Hi there. Please be more specific - which link and what page(s) is it linked from?

Well, for starters, both of the links on the Download page:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/springr ... p/download redirects to the sourceforge page where you can find the windows binary and linux builds, while the mirror http://springrts.com/dl/buildbot/defaul ... eopard.zip 404s

Really? Not even an old one that sort-of works?

... I was under the impression we were a lot closer to an OSX version than that given that it says "Spring is a free RTS engine developed for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X" right on the homepage...

we have no working buildslave... it seems to compile on osx and works, but setting up a buildslave seems very difficult. as no current engine dev has access to a osx machine, no progress can be made. the people who tried it gave up or just disappeared. but it seems they got a working build but had big problems compiling springlobby, too and make it work with unitsync.

I'm still here, but can't really make progress until the spring development build compile error I reported to Mantis is fixed. I did manage to play a number of games with the mac build and spring lobby build I did make.

If (more) Mac developers/buildslave peoplepersons are needed: Would that be something that is worth advertising in other forums?
There must be some open source Mac forums or anything?
Or at least something for http://springrts.com/wiki/Project_proposals ?
