Hey. I was told about the castle map by a friend, but I can't find a working download of such a map. I've done a search of the forums, but only found broken links. Can anybody please point me to a working download of the castle map? Thanks!

Then one must exercise patience.

The castle map is the most poorly designed hunk of poopy I've ever seen. I'd redeisgn it or something, but I just don't care enough.

Yet it seems to have gotten the most downloads..... Only the prebundled maps are more widespread

Quantity isn't the same as quality...
In any case, yeah, our server's down right now because things went haywire during the scheduled maintenance last night... Hopefully it should be back up tonight, but there is no guarantee. There's no data loss, so don't worry about that. I'll see if I can upload the Castles map somewhere else for you in the meantime.

There isn't a single map castle themed.
I hope that fnoigy is talking about my "Azure Rampart" while Caydr is speaking of that "Castles" (Four Castles and a lake of gold). And those "Dueling Forts" are not worth mentionning (unless you're playing comm rush only).

You know what would be cool? A battle thats set on a massive floting caslte. Would that work as a single castle setting?

Castles is fun to play but hard to look at
It's the "WTH do people play this ugly thing?" map of TAS, like fy_iceworld for CS.

Only when you changed your view to anything other than top-down.

Which some people do. You should aim to make maps look good from ALL angles.
